SPRINGHILL SUITES BY MARRIOTT RENO, Reno

The hotel sits off I-580/395 in South Reno, a 10-minute drive from the airport and 7 km from the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Downtown Reno and the National Automobile Museum are about 13 km away. A Starbucks is in the same parking lot, and multiple restaurants, including Pegs Glorified Ham n Eggs, Sierra Gold, and Wild Garlic Pizza & Pub, are within 0.5 km. A grocery store (Sprouts) and gas stations are adjacent. The area is safe and well-lit. For skiing trips to North Tahoe, this is a convenient base.

Room types include double rooms with one bed, suites with two or three beds, and first-floor rooms accessible without stairs. All rooms include a seating area, tiled floors, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. The work desk has a privacy divider, and the sofa bed provides additional sleeping space. Rooms are soundproofed, but those near the elevator or main road may experience noise; requesting a quieter location is advisable. Air conditioning can be less effective on the top floor. Housekeeping is not automatic; request it at the front desk if daily service is needed. No in-room safes are available.

Breakfast is included and offers a continental and American buffet with rotating hot items such as mini quiches and frittatas. Coffee, tea, and juice are available. The breakfast area can become crowded, and on busy mornings some items may run low. The on-site restaurant serves a variety of meals throughout the day. For additional dining, the surrounding area offers multiple restaurants within a short walk, including Starbucks for coffee and quick bites.
