The hotel sits away from the Strip noise, in a safe area with several restaurants (China A Go Go 0.5 km, Mi Peru 1 km, Sunset Pizzeria 2 km), a grocery store (Albertson's), and a DMV office within walking distance. Freeway access is convenient for reaching the Las Vegas Strip in about 10 minutes by car. Public transportation is available a short walk from the property. Parking on site is paid ($15/day) and does not require a reservation.

Rooms are primarily Queen Suites, each equipped with two queen beds, a sofa bed (sleeper couch), a microwave, a sitting area, and a work desk. The bathrooms feature a shower (older design with plastic curtain), free toiletries, and a fan. Air conditioning and heating are available. Some guests find the mattresses firm, and bed sheets and towels may feel rougher or thinner compared to newer hotels. The carpet and furniture in some rooms show wear. Light from windows can be strong as curtains are not blackout. Noise from hallways and early housekeeping can be an issue; top-floor rooms away from the elevator are quieter. Accessible rooms with widened doors and grab rails are available.

Breakfast is included and offers a basic but adequate selection: scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, fruit (bananas), granola, breads, pastries, and coffee. Some mornings the hot food may be limited, and coffee creamer is not always available; 2% milk is provided instead. The breakfast buffet is self-service and runs until 9:00 AM, which some find early. The on-site minimarket sells drinks and snacks. Several restaurants are within walking distance, including Chinese (China A Go Go, 0.5 km) and pizza (Sunset Pizzeria, 2 km).

The on-site fitness centre is clean and available around the clock, equipped with a range of machines and free weights. Bicycles are available for free rental on the property. The hotel's indoor pool is currently closed for renovation. Guests can use the outdoor pool at the adjacent TownPlace Suites, though the facility has been reported as small and occasionally not well maintained. The jacuzzi at the hotel has been taped off during recent stays.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in all rooms and public areas. The 24-hour front desk can assist with express check-in/out and holds luggage after check-out.
