The hostel sits in the quiet and residential island district of Kungsholmen, an 8-10 minute walk from Fridhemsplan metro station. From there, T-Centralen (city centre) is two stops away. The surroundings include several supermarkets, a shopping mall, a bakery (Fabrique), and a 0.3-km radius packed with restaurants such as Il Forno Da Gino and Great India. Walking to the main attractions of Gamla Stan and the Royal Palace takes about 25 minutes. Bromma Stockholm Airport is 7 km by taxi (fixed price approximately 575 SEK for four people) or a short bus-ride away; Arlanda is accessible via the metro to T-Centralen and the Arlanda Express train. For cyclists, bike storage is available upon request. The area offers easy access to waterfront walking paths along the Lake Mälaren shoreline.

Room types range from single-bed windowless rooms to double rooms (with a sealed-shut window) and family rooms for up to 4 guests. Double rooms include an en-suite shower, a hairdryer, central heating and air conditioning, and free WiFi. Family rooms feature carpeted floors, a hairdryer, a TV, and a private bathroom. Extra person surcharge is 300 SEK/night. The windowless rooms rely on a fan for air circulation - these can feel stuffy and are better suited for short stays. Noise from street-facing rooms, corridor activity, and plumbing (pipes and flushing from upper floors) can be an issue; earplugs are advisable. The rooms are basic in furnishings with limited storage - pack light and be prepared to make your own bed. Rooms on the entrance-level (no stairs) are available, while the first floor is accessible only by stairs.

The large shared kitchen includes a stove, microwave, toaster, coffee machine (pay-per-use), two refrigerators, a freezer, and plenty of utensils and cookware. There is also a free food shelf where travellers leave unwanted produce. Several supermarkets (e.g., ICA) a few minutes away make it easy to buy groceries. There is no bar or café on the property. The dining area doubles as a lounge with a TV and sofas.
