SUPER HOTEL PREMIER IKEBUKURO NATURAL HOT SPRING, Tokyo

The hotel sits in central Ikebukuro, a lively district with department stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Ikebukuro Station is a major transport hub served by JR Yamanote Line, several metro lines, and bus services connecting to Shinjuku, Shibuya, and other Tokyo districts. From Narita Airport, take the Keisei Skyliner to Nippori and transfer to the Yamanote Line; from Haneda Airport, no direct public transport exists, but a transfer via the Yamanote Line is the simplest route. An airport bus for both Haneda and Narita also stops in Ikebukuro, making air travel connections straightforward. The immediate area includes Family Mart and other convenience stores within a couple of minutes' walk, plus a bakery next door and numerous restaurants within 300 metres. The street is quiet enough for a good night's sleep while being close to the vibrant station area.

Breakfast is served daily, but only 60 servings are available each morning, so early arrival is recommended to secure a spot. The buffet offers a healthy balance of Japanese and Western options, with organic vegetables and a good selection of fresh dishes. For those who miss the hotel breakfast or prefer other options, numerous restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, and convenience stores are close by for quick meals. The hotel also has a vending machine for drinks on site.

The onsen is a standout feature, open continuously from check-in until 09:00 the next morning, making it easy to use after a day of sightseeing. The hot spring bath is relatively small, accommodating about 4-6 people, but it is often clean and not crowded. Towels and basic toiletries are provided. The hotel does not offer a private onsen reservation option. For guests with tattoos, use is permitted if tattoos are covered with a sticker. A complimentary evening drink bar operates daily from 17:00 to 20:00, offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. Laundry facilities are available on the 3rd and 4th floors.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Luggage can be stored on the day of check-in or check-out. Self-service coin laundry costs 200 yen for washing, with free drying. A trouser press is available. The hotel has a lift serving floors 3 to 13, and the emergency staircases are locked from 14:00 to 09:00, so the lift is the only route during those hours. Check-in is by 24:00, and there is no formal checkout required. Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, JCB, UC, and UnionPay. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, with a designated smoking area. Security features 24-hour CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. The staff is noted for being friendly and helpful, and the front desk can assist with luggage forwarding via Yamato Transport.
