The lodge sits on the edge of Whistler Village, only 500 m from the Whistler Village Gondola and a 6-minute stroll from the main shopping and dining area. Whistler Golf Course is directly across the street, and the property is near Highway 99, which can create some traffic noise if windows are open. A free hotel shuttle runs frequently to the ski lifts and village, making a short walk even easier with equipment. Several restaurants are within 0.5 km, including Cinnamon Bear Bar & Grille, KA-ZE Sushi, and The Old Spaghetti Factory. The location balances village accessibility with a quieter, less crowded setting.

All suites are generously sized and include a separate living room with a sofa and fireplace, a dining area, and a private balcony. One-bedroom suites have a separate bedroom; two-bedroom suites offer two bathrooms and a full-size kitchen. Kitchens are equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, cookware, and utensils. Room furnishings and decor are older and described as dated or tired, with some units showing wear such as cracked paint, worn carpets, and older linens. Some rooms feel dark, especially those facing the back with limited sunlight. Fans are provided as there is no air conditioning. Rooms away from the road tend to be quieter; traffic noise can be heard from Highway 99 if windows are open.

The outdoor heated pool is open year-round from 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with a shallow end and a fence around it. The pool can be reserved in one-hour slots with a maximum capacity of 12 people. Two outdoor hot tubs and a dry sauna are also open all year, though the hot tubs have had periods of being out of service for maintenance. On-site amenities also include charcoal BBQ pits (subject to fire ratings), a garden with outdoor furniture, a picnic area, and outdoor tennis and pickleball courts. Ski storage and bike storage are available free of charge. Guests looking for a quiet family-friendly leisure experience will find the facilities meaningful, but those expecting modern fitness or spa equipment should note the limited scope.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, though connectivity can be inconsistent in some rooms and may require using the lobby area. A 24-hour front desk can arrange luggage storage free of charge, and there are vending machines for snacks and drinks.
