The freeway proximity also makes a car nearly essential, though the Fashion Valley trolley station is close for those wanting to skip driving into the city centre. Several restaurants and a Target are within a 5-minute drive.

Rooms are described as generously sized, especially the quad and double options, which include a seating area and parquet flooring. All accommodations feature air conditioning, heating, a laptop safe, a desk, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and a private bathroom with a bath or roll-in shower (in wheelchair-accessible units). A microwave, small refrigerator, and coffee machine are standard. The rooms are older but have received recent cosmetic updates; the style is basic and functional rather than modern. Beds are high (platform with box spring and thick mattress), which may be challenging for those with mobility issues.
