Broadway Shopping Centre is about 20 minutes on foot for groceries and essentials. The quiet residential setting suits visitors who value sleep over partying.

Dorm rooms offer sturdy bunk beds, lockers inside the room (bring your own padlock), and air conditioning. Smaller dorms (4- and 6-bed) are quieter, while larger dorms can feel cramped and noisier. Private double and twin rooms include a double bed (configuration cannot be changed to singles), private bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, kettle, and in some cases a TV. Some rooms look onto an inner courtyard, helping block street noise. Bed linen and pillows are provided; towels are not. The property has two main buildings - Building A has fewer facilities (no kitchen or public toilets) and can feel more cramped. Room condition varies; some dorms and bathrooms show wear, and cleaning consistency differs between buildings.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service, but two shared kitchens are available (main building kitchen open 7:00-22:00; Building A has none). The kitchens are equipped with hobs, microwaves, kettles, fridges, and basic utensils - though supplies can run low during busy periods. The weekly free BBQ (Friday) and pancake breakfast (Sunday) are popular social events. For other meals, Glebe Point Road offers numerous cafes, pubs (Toxteth Hotel, Timbah), and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. A supermarket and the Broadway Centre are a 5-20 minute walk for groceries.

The rooftop terrace provides a relaxed outdoor space with seating and sunset views, ideal for socialising or quiet reading. A courtyard garden and the games room (pool table, table tennis) add to the social atmosphere. A small gym with basic equipment is accessible in the main building. The hostel organises free yoga sessions and trivia nights. Free weekly BBQ and pancake breakfast events are also part of the social programme. No swimming pool, spa, or sauna.

The hostel offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, though speed can vary during peak times. A 24-hour reception allows late check-in; a self-check-in app provides independent access at any hour.
