The property sits on a main road with excellent bus links - the 16 and 40 buses connect directly to the airport and city centre. St. Michan's Church is a 17-minute walk, Jameson Distillery 2 km, and Dublin Castle 18 minutes on foot. The neighbourhood puts you within easy reach of shopping on O'Connell Street, the bars and restaurants of Temple Bar, and landmarks like the Spire and the General Post Office. For late-night returns, main roads are well-lit but side streets may feel less secure. Several pubs, cafés, and a Tesco are within a 5-minute walk.

The property offers single, double, twin, triple, quadruple, family rooms, studios, and apartments. Many rooms face the inner courtyard (quieter) or the street (noisier). All private bathrooms have showers and free toiletries. Bedrooms include hypoallergenic bedding, wardrobes, desks, and hairdryers. Apartments and family rooms contain kitchenettes with microwave, fridge, and toaster; some have full kitchens with oven and stovetop. Rooms with city views are available. Sound insulation is minimal - street-facing rooms and those near communal areas can be noisy, especially at weekends. Complimentary earplugs are provided in each room. Daily housekeeping and towel changes are included. No lift - all rooms are upstairs.

The hotel no longer operates a café on-site. For breakfast, you can book a full Irish breakfast for €10 per person. In-room tea and coffee making facilities are standard, along with a welcome supply of muffins, water, and juice. Within a short walk, there are several places to eat: Brewbakers Cafe, The Castle Tea Room, Lovinspoon, and Murray's Bar. For self-catering, many rooms have kitchenettes or kitchens with basic utensils, plate, and sink.

The property has a small courtyard with outdoor furniture where guests can sit. Bicycle parking is available and secure. There are no on-site wellness facilities such as a gym, pool, or spa.
