HOTEL TRAVESSERA, Barcelona

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area on the edge of Gràcia, a neighbourhood full of shops, bars and restaurants. Parc Güell is a 10-minute walk to the north, and Sagrada Família is about a 20-minute walk to the south. Public transport is abundant: Alfons X Metro Station (L4) is 500 m away, offering direct access to the Gothic Quarter and city centre, and several bus routes stop directly outside the hotel. Taxis are readily available and tend to be cheaper than ride-hailing apps for reaching main attractions. The neighbourhood feels safe and is well-served by supermarkets and eateries, though the hotel itself is not immediately in the most tourist-heavy zone.

Each bright, functional room includes air conditioning, heating, a private bathroom with hairdryer and toiletries, a safety deposit box, and free Wi-Fi. Flooring is tile or marble. Triple rooms are available with windows that can be opened. A separate apartment with a kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave) and a washing machine is also an option. Rooms facing the interior courtyard receive little natural light and can be darker; those on upper floors are reachable by lift. The accommodation is best suited for travellers who prioritise location, cleanliness and basic comfort over modern design or spaciousness.

A daily continental breakfast buffet is offered in the hotel's dining room, available from 07:30 to 10:15. The buffet includes a range of continental options, with gluten-free alternatives possible on request. The hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner, but the surrounding Gràcia neighbourhood provides numerous cafés, bars and a supermarket within a short walk. A microwave in the lobby allows guests to heat up their own food.
