The hotel sits on a cobbled street steps from the Trevi Fountain, putting the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Spanish Steps within a 20-minute walk. Barberini Metro Station is 5 minutes on foot, providing direct access to Termini, the Vatican, and other key areas. The surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, cafés, gelaterias, and shops, making it ideal for sightseeing. The location is lively day and night, which suits early-to-bed travellers less - rooms facing the main street can be noisy. A taxi stand is a few steps away for longer journeys.

Each room includes a private bathroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. Rooms in the main building tend to have a fresher, better-maintained feel. The annex is a separate building about 80 metres away, accessed via a spiral staircase, and has been described as very shabby, with issues such as poor air conditioning, mould, noise from the street, and old furnishings. Some rooms have a two-single-bed configuration set side by side, with a transparent shower screen that offers little privacy. There is no lift, but staff help with luggage. For a reliable stay, requesting a main-building room is highly recommended.

Breakfast is a classic continental spread - bread, pastries, juice, yogurt, and hot drinks - delivered to your room at a chosen time. There is no buffet or seated breakfast area; the meal is served on a tray and eaten on or near the bed. This works well for guests who prefer a relaxed start to the day. For a fuller or seated meal, the streets around the hotel are lined with restaurants and pizzerias within a two-minute walk.

The hotel does not offer a pool, spa, sauna, or gym. All leisure activities are city-based - the historic centre, gardens, and shopping streets are all within walking distance.
