Waterloo mainline and Tube station is literally across the street (1 minute walk), providing direct rail access to central London and airports including Heathrow (via Elizabeth Line) and Gatwick. The hotel is only steps from the London Eye, a 9-minute walk to Shrek's Adventure, and within a 15-minute walk of the London Dungeon and Tate Modern. A scenic 17-minute stroll over Westminster Bridge reaches the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. The immediate area has many pubs and restaurants, plus a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. For onward journeys, Euston Station is 15 minutes away by public transport.

Room categories include Single, Double, Double Luxury (king bed) and Family (2 beds). Each room is individually heated, features parquet or tiled floors, a private entrance, and free toiletries. Windows open on all rooms, but there is no air conditioning - portable fans are supplied in summer and some rooms can become very warm. Some rooms face the railway line or the street, leading to noticeable train and traffic noise. The hotel provides earplugs. The family room faces the road. Single rooms can be very compact. There are no balconies. While some newer-style finishes exist, the general decor is described as dated. Rooms are cleaned daily.

Breakfast operates as a served menu (no booking required) offering a cold buffet of pastries, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit plus freshly cooked dishes - full English, American pancakes, avocado toast, and sweet options.
