The hostel sits in the 19th arrondissement, 3 km from Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord. Public transport is excellent: RER E reaches Gare du Nord in one stop; tram T3b connects across the city. Charles de Gaulle Airport is 17 km away, reachable via RER B and then RER E (around 40 minutes). Several restaurants, a supermarket, and a Lidl are within a 5-minute walk. Major attractions like the Louvre and Sacré-Coeur are 20-30 minutes away by transit. The area has been regenerated and feels safe during the day; solo travellers might prefer using the well-lit tram or RER at night. The hostel itself has 24-hour security and key-card access.

Private double rooms include a wardrobe, work desk, free toiletries, and electric roller shutters. Some are wheelchair-accessible with lower sinks and grab rails. Dormitories offer single beds with privacy curtains and lockers; top bunks have smaller lockers and less privacy. All rooms have heating but no air conditioning. Soundproofing is limited - rooms facing the train station can be noisy. Beds may be creaky in older dorms. Linen is provided but beds are not made by staff. Housekeeping is not daily; common bathrooms are cleaned daily but may show mold and dim lighting. Bring your own toiletries as soap can run out. Lockers in dorms are large enough for a daypack but not a full suitcase.

The restaurant is modern and family-friendly. Lunch is served daily 12:00-14:30; dinner is available until 22:00. The buffet breakfast (€8) includes croissants, cereals, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee - a light start. Special dietary menus can be requested in advance. The on-site bar and snack bar offer drinks and light bites until 10pm. No guest kitchen is available. Over a dozen restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including Thai, burgers, and Asian options. The hostel also has a coffee house.

The on-site sports complex is a major attraction. Included in your stay: gym, climbing wall (free shoe and chalk rental), squash and badminton courts, fitness classes, yoga, and walking tours. Evening entertainment and live sport events are also offered. The games room has board games and an indoor play area for children. Equipment is often available at no extra charge, but certain activities (like climbing) may require advance booking as they can fill up. The fitness centre includes locker rooms. The outdoor terrace and common areas are open until 23:00.

WiFi is free throughout the building and generally reliable.
