Urban Pack sits right above Tsim Sha Tsui MTR (Exit A1), making it one of the most convenient bases in Kowloon for exploring Hong Kong Island and the city. The Star Ferry Terminal, Harbour City Mall, and Avenue of Stars are all about a 5-minute walk away. Kowloon Park is across the street, providing a green escape. A21 airport bus stops nearby, and the airport can be reached in roughly 50 minutes by car or via the MTR. For late-night arrivals, a taxi is the only option after midnight; the night bus N21 may also run but schedules can vary. The surrounding streets are packed with restaurants, shops, and a 24-hour convenience store.

Accommodation is exclusively in dormitory-style rooms, including 4-bed, 6-bed, and 8-bed configurations, plus private twin, triple, and quadruple rooms - all with shared bathrooms. Each bed comes with a privacy curtain, personal locker (keys provided), reading light, and an electrical outlet with USB ports. Rooms are air-conditioned and include a TV, fridge, and telephone. Lockers are small, so only a medium bag may fit. Some rooms are in the main building on the 15th floor, while others are in a separate apartment nearby; room assignment may differ from the photos. The property is older and compact, with some rooms feeling quite cramped. Air conditioning in some rooms has been reported as weak. Some dorms have windows, while others are internal - natural light varies by room.

Urban Pack does not have a restaurant but provides a shared kitchen with a microwave, fridge, kettle, and complimentary daily coffee and tea. For breakfast and other meals, Tsim Sha Tsui offers a wide variety of local eateries within walking distance, including Tsui Wah Restaurant, The Roundhouse, and Nanhai No. 1, all about 0.5 km away. The area also has numerous cafés, street food stalls, and a 24-hour convenience store nearby. There is no formal dining service or meal plan available at the property.

The hostel features five common areas, including a chill-out lounge with a big-screen TV and Netflix, and a Sky Lounge with a balcony overlooking Kowloon Park. Daily activities such as free walking tours and pub crawls (at additional cost) are organized for guests. Movie nights are free, and happy hours are offered. Board games are available, and there is a shared lounge and terrace. There is no spa, gym, or swimming pool on site. The building is not a purpose-built hostel - it occupies upper floors of Haipong Mansion, so the overall social atmosphere depends on the mix of guests.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Shared facilities include a kitchen (microwave, fridge, kettle), a washing machine/dryer, and a TV lounge. Luggage storage is free until 1 PM on check-out day; after that it costs HKD 50 per day. Daily housekeeping is free, and laundry and ironing services are available (additional charge for laundry). The tour desk can assist with local information and restaurant recommendations. Check-in is handled via WhatsApp with a self-service key box after hours; the reception is not staffed 24 hours.
