Rooms are small - typically around 2 m square - and best for sleeping only. Beds are bunk-style (no ladder provided for top bunks); mattresses are narrow and thin, and the bed length is around 185 cm, so taller travellers may find the space restrictive. The single electric plug per room is located at the foot of the top bunk, and the socket can be worn. Ventilation is limited: the porthole opens only a crack, and without airflow, rooms can become stuffy and humid. Noise carries easily through the thin walls and corridors, so light sleepers should consider earplugs. A small mirror is provided. Closet space is minimal (2 hangers). Rooms are not serviced daily, and some cabins have been noted with maintenance issues such as damp or mould. The boat can accommodate up to 44 people.

Breakfast is available from 08:30 to 10:00 and is included in many bookings. It is a self-serve buffet with a good variety - often praised for its completeness given the price point. Tea and coffee are also available in the lounge during the day. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but guests have access to a shared fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery. Across the street and within a short walk, many restaurants offer Italian, Ethiopian, and other cuisines, including Arabic Lounge (0.5 km) and Pizzeria Bella Riva (0.5 km).

Wellness amenities are limited to the sun terrace and roof deck, which offer panoramic views over the canal ring and the city skyline - a popular spot for relaxing with a drink. Board games are available in the shared lounge. The location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam on foot or by bike, with bike parking provided.

WiFi is free in the public spaces (lounge and breakfast area) but does not reliably reach the cabins. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, which is useful for day trips. The self-check-in process uses an envelope on the bar - no staff is present at the reception during most of the day. Keys are left in a container for check-out. A shared fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery are available. Noise carries throughout the boat, and the entrance doors remain unlocked during the night, so the property has a relaxed, hostel-like atmosphere rather than 24-hour front desk security.
