The hotel is on a lively shopping street just off the main station. Dam Square is less than 1 km away, and Anne Frank House is 1 km. Schiphol Airport is 17 km by train or taxi. Public transport is excellent: trams, metro, and trains from Central Station connect everywhere. The area is safe and busy day and night, with many restaurants, souvenir shops, and supermarkets within a few steps.

Rooms come in single, double, twin, and triple configurations. All rooms have air conditioning, heating, a safety deposit box, and a flat-screen TV. Double rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Single rooms and some twin rooms have a private shower but share a toilet with one other room. Many rooms have windows that open, but some face an inner courtyard or a wall. Noise from the street and neighbouring rooms can be noticeable; light sleepers may benefit from earplugs. Daily housekeeping includes fresh towels and bin emptying. Some rooms have limited storage; pack light for easier movement in the small space.
