The hotel sits on a main street in the heart of Amsterdam. The tram stop outside connects to all city routes, and the metro station (Rokin) is one stop from Centraal Station. Dam Square is 5 minutes away on foot, and Kalverstraat shopping area is 130 metres away. Anne Frank House can be reached in less than 15 minutes, and the Amsterdam Hermitage is a 10-minute walk. Schiphol Airport is 25 minutes by car or direct metro. Numerous restaurants, cafes, and nightlife are within a few minutes' walk. This location is ideal for sightseeing and shopping, though the street can be noisy at night.

Most rooms are small with limited storage - there is no wardrobe, only a few hooks and a small shelf. Beds are often two single mattresses pushed together for a double, which may separate during the night. Heating is provided, but the single-pane windows let in street noise. Air conditioning is only available in two rooms; in summer, windows must be propped open for airflow. The bathrooms are functional but compact; some have odour or mould issues. Towels and liquid soap are supplied; shampoo and body wash are not standard. Hairdryers can be borrowed from reception. Triple and family rooms are on upper floors (1st-3rd). Travellers should be prepared for steep stairs and minimal in-room amenities.

Breakfast may be offered as an optional add-on depending on the rate selected; confirm availability at booking. For other meals, a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and takeaway options are within a 2-5 minute walk, including sushi, Italian, Dutch snacks, and pizza. The closest restaurant is 50 metres away.
