WINE APARTMENTS FLORENCE MOSCATO, Florence

Wine Apartments Florence Moscato sits in the historic centre, a 6-minute walk from Palazzo Vecchio and a few minutes from Santa Maria Novella train station. Florence Airport is 9 km away. All major attractions - the Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza della Signoria - are within walking distance, and the building is on a street with direct views of the Duomo. The area is packed with excellent restaurants, including Trattoria Za Za, Trattoria al Trebbio, and Ristorante Buca Mario, all within 0.5 km. The location works well for self-guided exploration, with public transport stops very close and the station a short walk.

The apartment comprises a separate double bedroom, a living room with two sofa beds (a double and a single), and a bathroom with a shower. The living area includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, and cookware. Additional features include air conditioning, heating, a washing machine, ironing facilities, a flat-screen TV with Netflix/Disney+/Prime, and free WiFi. The bathroom is en suite to the bedroom, which is practical for couples or families but less so for two couples sharing. The apartment is clean, dry, and comfortable, with a notable original beamed ceiling. Up to 5 guests can be accommodated using the sofa beds. No balcony or inner courtyard access; the washing machine is in a small open courtyard off the bedroom.

The apartment does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service. The kitchenette is fully stocked with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric kettle, cookware, and utensils, making self-catering straightforward. Wine/champagne is provided as a welcome gesture. The surrounding streets offer a high density of dining options: Caffettiera Moka Arra, Verdoliva Trattoria Toscana, Trattoria al Trebbio, Ristorante Buca Mario, and Restaurante Il Latini are all within 0.5 km. Trattoria Za Za and Chianineria Trattoria dall'Oste are 0.5 km away. This makes the location particularly suitable for travellers who prefer to eat out but value having kitchen facilities for snacks or simple meals.

Free WiFi is available throughout the apartment. Private parking is possible at a nearby location for €30 per day and must be reserved in advance - no on-site parking. The building has a lift to the first-floor apartment. Check-in is from 15:00 using a self check-in code provided ahead of time; luggage can be left at the apartment from 12:00 on arrival day. Check-out is until 10:00, and luggage storage afterwards is at a facility in the historic centre (not on site). Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are available. Pets are allowed on request, with possible charges. Cots are available on request and subject to availability. The apartment is non-smoking throughout, with 24-hour security, fire extinguishers, and key access. Payment methods accepted include American Express, Visa, Maestro, CartaSi, UnionPay, and MasterCard.
