Atocha Station (0.5 km) offers the express train to Madrid-Barajas Airport, as well as metro and bus connections to the historic city centre, about a 35-45 minute walk away. The Reina Sofía Museum and the Prado Museum are within easy walking distance. Several restaurants are within 0.3-0.5 km: La Huerta de Casa Ricardo, Restaurante Don Giovanni, and El Segoviano. A bus stop is just outside, and the area is well served by public transport. The neighbourhood feels secure but can be noisy at the main entrance. Some road names and directions may be disrupted during local construction.

All rooms are private and designed for practical short stays, but are notably compact - the bathroom is often described as very small, and some rooms have a sliding door that does not fully close. Rooms facing the interior courtyard may be quieter but suffer from noise from neighbouring air condition units and a musty smell; rooms near the main entrance (e.g. room 4) hear every door opening and closing. Superior rooms may have laminated flooring and a coffee machine; basic rooms are carpeted. Bed slats have been reported broken in some rooms, and the desk is a small shelf not suitable for a laptop. No safe, no kettle, and limited power outlets (may need to unplug the heater). Some rooms have a small balcony; others have no table. The property has a lift and key card access.
