The surrounding area is dense with bars, restaurants, and street food, including several South Indian, Punjabi, and Western dining options within 0.5 km. The neighbourhood is lively and safe, but the street is known for its nightlife; rooms facing the main road or the Soi 7/1 side can be noisy until late, especially from the nearby bar Bangkok Beat. The location is particularly convenient for the Trendy Office Building visa application centres for UK, Australia, and Sweden.

Accommodation ranges from mixed and female-only dorms to private rooms with shared or private bathrooms. Dorm beds feature lockers (bring your own lock), individual reading lamps, and USB charging points, which charge devices slowly. Some rooms have air conditioning inside the pod, but not all pods have a working AC unit or a power plug for standard chargers. Private rooms offer more space and may include a dining table and a balcony. Each room has a flat-screen TV, parquet flooring, and free toiletries.
