The hotel sits on Vondelstraat, a peaceful residential street just steps from the lively Leidseplein entertainment area and the greenery of Vondelpark. All major museums - Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and Stedelijk - are within a 10-minute walk. The Concert Hall, theatres, and the famous PC Hooftstraat shopping street are also nearby. Public transport is excellent: tram lines 2, 11, and 12 stop at Leidseplein, and bus line 397 runs directly from Schiphol Airport. All 35 rooms were renovated in 2020 and feature satellite TV, a telephone, free WiFi, a safe, and a private bathroom with shower or bath and hairdryer. Room sizes range from compact double rooms - suitable for one large suitcase - to more spacious quad rooms on the lower floor with direct garden access. Twin beds can be separated or joined. Some rooms have balconies (cannot be guaranteed), and a few attic rooms have low ceilings that may be restrictive for tall individuals. Rooms on the ground floor and garden level offer easier access. No air conditioning; fans and openable windows provide ventilation. Central heating is controllable via radiator thermostats. Some rooms are located in a separate garden annex, which may be quieter but basic. Housekeeping is provided daily upon request using the door sign.

The breakfast buffet offers a continental selection including bread, pastries, eggs, beans, fruit, and hot drinks. Seating is limited, so guests are asked to reserve a 30-minute time slot at check-in for their entire stay. Free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available from machines in the lobby throughout the day, though drinks cannot be taken to the rooms. In the evening, the bar serves drinks, and the garden terrace is open for relaxation. Many restaurants and cafes are within a 5-minute walk around Leidseplein.

The garden is a peaceful retreat with outdoor furniture and partial coverage, ideal for reading or relaxing after a day out. Bicycle rental allows easy exploration of Amsterdam's bike-friendly streets and parks. Vondelpark is a 5-minute walk away, offering jogging paths, open-air cafes, and green space. For entertainment, Leidseplein and the Museumplein are nearby, with cinemas, theatres, and live music venues. The hotel also provides board games and puzzles for families.

WiFi is complimentary throughout the property, including on the terrace and in the garden. Reception is staffed 24 hours, offering concierge service, ticket booking for attractions, and guided tours.
