Hotel Allure is situated in the greenest part of Amsterdam city centre, surrounded by canals and large trees, providing a calmer base than the busier tourist core. The metro (Weesperplein) is two minutes away and reaches Amsterdam Centraal in three stops; from there, direct trains connect to Schiphol Airport in about 45 minutes. Several tram lines also stop right at the hotel, offering quick access to Museumplein, the Jordaan, and the city centre. The RAI convention centre is a short metro ride away, making the hotel practical for business travellers. A supermarket is located a one-minute walk away, and there are multiple cafés and restaurants within three to five minutes on foot. Most major attractions, including the zoo and Dam Square, are within a 15- to 25-minute walk.

The accommodation consists of double, twin, and triple rooms, each with a private bathroom (shower and toilet), hairdryer, and free toiletries. Standard rooms are small, with carpeted floors, a desk, a wardrobe, an electric kettle, and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms have a balcony - those overlooking the courtyard are quieter. Rooms on the ground-floor basement level have a window, but the layout is compact. Light sleepers should request a room away from the road, as street-facing rooms can pick up tram noise. Bedding is basic, and some twin beds are fixed close together; a double bed is the only option for couples, as twin beds cannot be reconfigured. There is no air conditioning; fans and opening windows provide ventilation. The property is an older building with steep stairs, and the elevator has been reported as unreliable.

Breakfast is served as a continental buffet for €14 per person and is not included in the room rate. The selection includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, jam, butter, and hot drinks, plus a drink and snack vending machine in the lobby that accepts coins. There is no restaurant or bar at the hotel. Several international and Dutch restaurants are within a three-minute walk, including Cantina Caliente (0.5 km), Via Vai Restaurant (0.5 km), and Cafe de Roeter (0.5 km). The nearby supermarket sells a full range of meals and snacks.

Wellness and leisure facilities are not available on-site. The hotel offers bicycle rental for €16 per day (2022 rate), which can be stored in the room or in the garden. The surrounding area is ideal for walking and cycling to the canals, parks, and city landmarks.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas and is generally reliable. The 24-hour front desk can assist with tours and early/late check-in requests based on availability. Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out, allowing guests to explore the city without their bags. Daily housekeeping includes fresh towels and bed-making; deeper cleaning may need to be requested. The property has an elevator, but its reliability is inconsistent; guests with heavy luggage or mobility needs should plan for stairs.
