The neighbourhood has a notable homeless presence after dark, so walking outside the hotel is not recommended after dusk. For downtown Phoenix, the light rail is accessible from the 44th Street station, making car-free city trips feasible during daylight hours.

Rooms are designed in a clean, Scandinavian-minimalist style with carpeted floors, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Each unit includes a small work desk with outlets, a safe, ironing facilities, and a coffee maker.
