Termini Station is a 7-8 minute walk, providing direct rail and bus links to Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. The surrounding area is dense with pizzerias, trattorias, souvenir shops, and supermarkets, making it easy to find food at any hour. The immediate neighbourhood feels lively but can be busy with traffic and church bells - rooms facing the street may pick up more noise, while rear-facing or upper-floor rooms are noticeably quieter. A taxi rank and multiple bus stops are located right next to Santa Maria Maggiore, so car-free exploration is straightforward.

The hotel provides a variety of room types: single rooms with a small double bed and a small internal balcony or patio, triple rooms (one of which has a private balcony overlooking the square), family rooms with a patio, and the Panoramic King Suite with a separate bedroom layout and city views. The King Suite has three separate bedrooms and a kitchenette with stovetop, oven, and refrigerator. All rooms include a refrigerator, electric kettle, toiletries, a safe, and bed sheets. The compact standard rooms can feel tight, especially for two open suitcases, and the bathroom showers are notably small. Noise from adjacent rooms and the corridor is audible due to limited soundproofing, so light sleepers may prefer a room at the back of the building. Rooms facing the main road can pick up traffic and church noise. The lifts are small - one person with luggage fits. The historical frescoed decor is widely appreciated.

Breakfast is available for a charge of 15 EUR per person, and can be pre-booked in 30-minute slots from 7:00 to 10:30. The buffet includes a sweet and savoury spread with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh pastries, cereals, yogurt, juices, and hot drinks made to order. A chef is on hand to prepare hot items, and gluten-free alternatives are provided on request. Breakfast can also be served in the room on occasion. The hotel does not operate a full restaurant, but the bar and lounge area serves drinks and coffee throughout the day, and the roof terrace bar is open in the evenings for cocktails with a view.
