THE INN AT THE SPANISH STEPS, Rome

The property occupies an 18th-century building on Via Condotti, Rome's most famous shopping street, directly facing the Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna. The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Villa Borghese park are all within a 15-minute walk. Spagna Metro Station (Line A) is just across the square, with an escalator and moving walkway leading to Villa Borghese. The area is a restricted traffic zone (access limited Mon-Sat 07:00-18:30), and a public parking garage (Parking Ludovisi) is located at the top of the Spanish Steps. Car hire and private limousine services can be arranged at reception.

All rooms feature air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, slippers, bathrobes and toiletries. Some rooms and suites include a French balcony with views of Piazza di Spagna or Via Condotti. Premium Family Rooms consist of two connecting double/twin rooms with a shared door; some have original 17th-century frescoes and Jacuzzi bathtubs. Apartments range from one to eight bedrooms and often include a seating area, terrace, and one-bedroom units may have a portable washer/dryer. The Carrozze apartments have no lift and are located in a separate building. Rooms facing the street may experience city noise, and some apartments are in separate annexes several minutes' walk from reception.

Breakfast is available at a cost of €25 per person and is included for all room categories except premium apartments. The rooftop terrace features fresh fried eggs prepared by a chef, smoked salmon, and a selection of pastries and breads. Gluten-free options are available. The breakfast service is a la carte rather than a buffet on some days, and the menu includes cappuccino and other hot drinks. The same rooftop terrace serves as a bar for drinks in the afternoon and evening. There is no restaurant or room-service dinner on site, but the surrounding area offers dozens of restaurants and cafés, including Antico Caffè Greco and Babington's Tea Room.

There is no spa, swimming pool or fitness centre on site. The rooftop terrace, planted with lemon trees and offering city views, serves as a peaceful outdoor area for breakfast and evening drinks. The surrounding neighbourhood provides abundant shopping on Via Condotti, and Villa Borghese park is reachable via an escalator from Spagna Metro Station. The hotel's concierge can arrange sightseeing tours and walking itineraries.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk offers concierge service, tour desk, express check-in/out and luggage storage. A paid shuttle service and car hire can be arranged. Laundry and ironing services are available for an additional charge.
