The location balances proximity to major sights with a quieter residential feel. The nearest metro station (Sant Pau | Dos de Maig) is a 3-minute walk away, and another line is within 5-8 minutes - the city centre and Las Ramblas are reachable in 15 minutes by metro. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel, and taxis are plentiful. For airport access at night, take bus A2 to Plaça de Catalunya then bus N4, or metro L9S to Collblanc then L5. Supermarkets, shops and a self-service laundry are all within a few blocks. The location works well for car users too: the hotel is inside a low-emission zone but offers private on-site parking for €22/night (no reservation possible). The surrounding streets have many bars, cafés and restaurants within a 5-minute walk, making dining out easy.

Room types include double (twin or double bed), double for single use, single, triple (three single beds), double with terrace, and the newer 'New Style' doubles. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom with a hairdryer. New Style rooms add a desk, smart TV and modern bath products. The terrace rooms (supplement €20/night) feature two single beds, a table and chairs, and open views of the city - these are the most requested option. Road-facing rooms on lower floors can be noisy due to the busy junction, so higher floors or rooms facing the hospital are quieter. Standard rooms are clean and functional but basic: they lack a mini-bar, kettle, safe and shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. Some single and standard double rooms are compact, which is a factor to weigh if space is important. Daily housekeeping and towel changes are provided.
