The hostel is well placed for sightseeing: Sagrada Familia and Plaza Catalunya are a 15-minute walk, and Casa Batlló is nearby. Many bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and the tapas spots like Tapas 24 are within a 5-minute walk. The Eixample district is a pleasant area for walking, and the Gothic Quarter is about 20 minutes on foot. For airport access, take the Aerobus from Plaza Catalunya (€5.90) or the train from Passeig de Gracia station (200 metres away) to terminal 2. The metro at Girona gives direct connections across Barcelona, making a car unnecessary.

Rooms are decorated simply with bright colours. Dormitories are mixed-gender and bunk-bed style with bedside plugs and USB ports. Private rooms include doubles, twins, triples, and some en-suite options. Some private rooms have a balcony overlooking a quiet inner courtyard. Bed linen and towels are provided. Housekeeping covers daily cleaning of bathrooms and common areas, but rooms may not be serviced daily. Lockers are available free of charge in the corridors, though they are small; in-room lockers are not provided. Some rooms face the street and can be noisy, and internal rooms may have less natural light. Older-style mattresses and thin walls can affect sleep quality for light sleepers.

Breakfast items like croissants, muffins, bread, jam, cereal, milk, fruit, and juices are available around the clock in the shared kitchen. There is also vegan milk on request. Cooked items are not provided, but the kitchen has an oven, microwave, hob, pans, and utensils for preparing meals. Staff sometimes bake cakes. Coffee and tea are free all day. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but the surrounding streets have many restaurants, including Minamo, Luigi Ristorante, and Tapas 24, all within a 5-minute walk.

The terrace and balcony are available for relaxing in the sun or with a drink, and are closed after 23:00 to keep noise down. Free activities include walking tours and themed dinner nights. Additional charge applies for bike tours, pub crawls, and evening entertainment. Cooking classes are free. Board games and puzzles are available in the lounge, and the TV area has a PlayStation and Wii. There is no spa, pool, or gym on site.

Free Wi-Fi covers all areas. The shared kitchen includes an oven, microwave, hob, fridge, and washing machine. Laundry service costs €10 (wash and dry). Luggage storage is free before check-in and after checkout, and guests can use common areas, the kitchen, and even take a shower after checkout. Daily cleaning of bathrooms and common areas is standard. The property has a lift, key-card and code access, 24-hour security, and safety deposit boxes. The hostel is accessible to those with mobility issues via the lift, but there are steps at the entrance. No airport shuttle is provided, but public transport is nearby.
