Schiphol Airport is 17 km away; the quickest connection is a 15-minute train ride to Central Station followed by the walk. For those arriving by car, parking is available at Oosterdok Park Centrum (5 minutes on foot), costing approximately €35 for 24 hours. The location is well-suited for exploring on foot, and the tram stop nearby provides easy access around the city.

The boat offers double, twin, and quadruple rooms, each with a private entrance and a small sink. Beds are comfortable but narrow, and the top bunks lack safety rails, which may feel insecure for restless sleepers. Cabins are tiny-around 4-5 m2-and can feel cramped, especially for two people. There is no air conditioning or fan, and windows are very small, so cabins can become stuffy and hot; in warm weather, sleeping with the door open is common, but this increases noise from the boat. Rooms have heating, but it is not individually adjustable and can make the cabin uncomfortably warm. Noise is a consistent issue due to thin walls, lack of soundproofing, and foot traffic from staff and other guests throughout the night. Rooms away from common areas and the upper deck may offer slightly quieter conditions.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and offers a filling spread with bread, pastries, meats, eggs, boiled eggs, and pancakes. Coffee and tea are available during breakfast hours. The bar on board serves wine, champagne, and other drinks for an additional charge, and special diet menus can be requested. The breakfast buffet is replenished, but arriving later may mean a more limited selection. For those who miss breakfast, there is no other on-board dining service, but the surrounding area has many restaurants within a short walk.

The sun terrace and outdoor decks provide pleasant spaces to sit and enjoy the canal views, especially in warmer weather. There is also a shared lounge/TV area inside the boat.
