Set on a canal in central Amsterdam, the hotel is 500 metres from Central Station and within a 10-minute walk of Dam Square, the Royal Palace and the Beurs van Berlage. The area is walkable to the Red Light District, Chinatown and numerous restaurants and bars along the same street. Schiphol Airport is 22 km away - a direct train from Central Station takes roughly 15 minutes. For day trips, the tram and bus stop outside the hotel. Cycling guests will find a guarded bicycle storage at Centraal Station, a 10-minute walk away.

The hotel offers single, double, triple and quadruple rooms, all with private bathrooms, hairdryers, slippers and free toiletries. Standard room sizes vary: some are spacious with desks and canal views, while others - particularly the single and some quadruple rooms - are notably small, with limited space for luggage. Road-facing rooms and ground-floor rooms with windows onto the street can experience noise from traffic and late-night passers-by, making higher-floor rooms preferable for light sleepers.
