HOTEL CALISTO, Amsterdam

The hotel sits on Haarlemmerdijk, one of Amsterdam's most vibrant shopping streets, with vintage stores, specialty shops, and many restaurants and cafés within a short walk. The Jordaan district is 1 km away, Dam Square is 1 km, and Leidseplein is 2 km. Central Station is 12-15 minutes on foot, giving direct rail access across the city and to Schiphol Airport (15 km). The area is well-served by trams and buses, making car-free city access straightforward. The immediate street is busy, and road-facing rooms can be noisy, while rooms at the back of the building are quieter.

There is no on-site wellness or leisure facility. The hotel's main leisure value comes from its central Jordaan location, which puts guests within walking distance of boutique shopping, cultural sites, the Anne Frank House, and many cafés and restaurants. The lively Haarlemmerdijk street offers vintage stores, bars, and a lively local atmosphere. For exercise, walking or cycling around the neighbourhood is a natural option; bike rental is available nearby.
