The hotel is moored in a quiet residential area near the NEMO Science Museum, roughly 12 minutes on foot from the Red Light District and 1 km to lively Rembrandtplein. Nieuwmarkt is 900 metres away, and from there it is about 8 minutes to Dam Square. From Central Station you can reach Leidseplein or Anne Frank House within 10 minutes. Several lunchrooms, cafes and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk, making it easy to find a meal. The nearest tram stops are at Amsterdam Central Station, Waterlooplein, or Muziekgebouw; the IJtunnel bus stop is currently closed, so use the bus stop at Prins Hendrikkade instead. The metro can be accessed at Central Station or Waterlooplein.

Each cabin has dark carpeted floors, a cabinet, and a photo on the wall. Bedding options include twin or triple rooms with comfortable new mattresses. The private bathroom includes a shower with good water pressure and hot water, and a hairdryer is provided. The rooms are compact - more suited to exploring than lounging - but kept clean and functional. Air conditioning and central heating ensure comfort year-round. Note that there are steep ladder-like stairs to reach some rooms, and cabins facing the interior are quiet. No balconies are available, but the boat's decks are open for relaxing. USB-A and USB-C sockets are built into the room for charging devices.

Breakfast is served in a bright, comfortable space on the upper deck. The buffet includes fresh bread, pastries, fruit, yogurt, muesli, pancakes, cold cuts, and Dutch cheeses. Cooked eggs (scrambled or fried) are available on request. Coffee, tea, juice and water are provided. Free snacks and drinks (tea, coffee, cookies) are available throughout the day in the common lounge. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but several lunchrooms, cafes, and restaurants are within a 10-minute walk. A vending machine with drinks is available.

The hotel's front deck provides a quiet outdoor space to sit and watch the canal. Inside, the communal lounge is equipped with board games, puzzles, books, and a guitar. Free tea, coffee and cookies are always available here. The lounge is a comfortable area to unwind after a day out, and the peaceful canal setting contributes to a restful atmosphere.

Wi-Fi is free in public areas and works reliably throughout the boat. Luggage storage is offered before check-in from 07:00 and after check-out until around 14:00. Check-in is from 14:00 to 23:00; late arrivals after 22:00 are accommodated with prior arrangement. Private check-in/out provides a smooth process. Other services include a vending machine (drinks), packed lunches on request, free fax/photocopying, and a shared lounge/TV area. Safety is ensured with CCTV, a security alarm, fire extinguishers, and key access. No lift is available; accessing the boat and rooms involves stairs and steep ladders. The boat has no parking, no pets, and no safe in rooms, but secure storage is available at reception.
