APARTMENT HOTEL WITTENAU, Berlin

The hotel is located directly on the busy B96 road, about 10 km north of the Memorial of the Berlin Wall and Natural History Museum, and 11 km from Berlin Central Station. Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 42 km away. Public transport is excellent: S-Bahn line S1 and U-Bahn line U8 both serve Wittenau station, reaching Alexanderplatz and Hauptbahnhof in about 20 minutes. Bus stops are also immediately outside. Free on-street parking is available but can be competitive in the evenings. A large Penny supermarket, a bakery, and several restaurants are within a 1-2 minute walk, making self-catering practical.

There is no in-house dining or breakfast option. A large bakery and café is located right next door (about 50 metres away), serving coffee and food, and is a convenient breakfast stop. A Penny supermarket is within a 2-minute walk, providing ingredients for self-catering. Several fast-food outlets and a Vietnamese restaurant are also close by. The kitchenette in each room includes two electric hobs, a fridge, a kettle, and basic cookware, so preparing simple meals is practical.

Outdoor leisure consists of a small garden area with a dining table and chairs, plus a barbecue for guest use. Boating is available in the surrounding area, but no on-site pool, spa, gym, or other wellness facilities are present. The property is better suited as a practical base for city exploration or work stays rather than for resort-style leisure.

WiFi is available throughout the property free of charge. Parking consists of 3 free on-site spaces (no reservation) and free street parking in the evenings. The hotel offers express check-in and check-out, and after-hours access is managed via a self-service key system. Luggage storage can be arranged in advance. A laundry service is available for an additional charge. The reception is staffed from about 11:00 to 20:00, with a phone line answered after hours. The building has CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers for safety. Pets are allowed with a one-time cleaning fee of €20 total paid at check-in. Cots are available on request.
