The hotel sits in the heart of Waikiki, just 200 meters from the beach. Within a 12-minute walk you reach the Honolulu Zoo, and the aquarium is similarly close. Diamond Head Crater Park is 4 km away. The area is packed with dining options - Sam's Snack Bar, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Tiki's Grill & Bar, and more are within 0.5 km. Public transport is accessible via bus stops nearby; the airport is about a 20-minute drive. Parking is on-site but daily charged; many find they don't need a car due to the walkable surroundings.

Each suite features a kitchen with full-size refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, coffee maker, and cookware. The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding door (not a full door). Bathroom access is through the bedroom. Some suites offer ocean, partial ocean, or mountain views depending on floor and tower - Tower 1 ocean view floors 28-37. Room condition varies widely: some units are renovated and modern, while others are dated with worn furniture, stained carpets, and older appliances. Beds tend to be firm; sofa beds may be less comfortable. High-floor rooms in Tower 1 generally offer better views and less street noise. The property is undergoing renovations of common areas; individual units are privately owned and updated at different rates.

The coffee shop offers sandwiches, beverages, and light meals. For dinner, numerous restaurants are within a few minutes' walk - from casual to upscale. The suite's full kitchen is popular for self-catering, with grocery stores about 0.5 km away. Note that breakfast is not included in the room rate; the coffee shop is the only hotel dining option. A vending machine and minimarket provide snacks and drinks around the clock.

The elevated recreation deck also includes two whirlpools and a sauna. Beach towels are provided at the front desk. Note: As of early 2025, the pool deck and BBQ area are under extensive renovation and may be closed for an extended period - confirm current status before booking. Children receive a sand pail at check-in. A golf course is within 3 km. There is no gym or spa on site.

Services include luggage storage (useful for early arrivals or late departures), coin-operated washers and dryers on each floor, and a 24-hour front desk. Key card access and smoke alarms ensure safety. Housekeeping is provided only for stays longer than 7 nights; for shorter stays, towels and toiletries can be requested.
