Within 300 metres you will find restaurants such as Hy's Steak House, Blue Ocean Seafood & Steak, and Musubi Cafe IYASUME. The Ala Moana Center is easily accessible via public bus or trolley. Honolulu Airport is 12 km away; bus #20 stops directly outside the hotel and costs $3 cash one way. The immediate area has food trucks, ABC Stores (some open until 23:30), and a Target within 2.5 blocks.

Accommodation ranges from studios to one-bedroom suites with separate living areas, kitchen, and dining table. The maximum occupancy is 4 guests in suites and 3 in studios; roll-away beds can be added for $30+tax per night. Some one-bedroom suites have a pull-out sofa bed in the living room and a queen bed in the bedroom, while studios may feature a queen or twin beds. Bathroom types vary: attached bathrooms connect directly to the bedroom; private bathrooms are adjacent. The sofa beds are noted as firm. The window-unit air conditioner is positioned near the bed and can be noisy - rooms on higher floors tend to have better partial ocean views from the lanai. The environment is functional and older, with carpet that may show wear.

The property has a single on-site restaurant, Musubi Cafe IYASUME, open daily 06:30-21:00, offering Japanese-style meals. Many rooms include a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette with stove, microwave, fridge, and cooking utensils - ideal for preparing your own meals and saving on dining costs. A shared BBQ grill is also available on the rooftop. Room service is not available. A wide variety of restaurants (steak, seafood, plant-based Italian) are within a short walk on Kuhio Avenue and Kalakaua Avenue.

The pool has a shallow end and a fence, making it family-friendly, though the water may feel warm and the hot tub is in the shade. A shared lounge on the rooftop has a TV, pool table, and corn toss games. Golf can be arranged within 3 km for an additional charge.

Wi-Fi is available in rooms for an additional charge. Parking is on-site public parking for $35-$45 per 24 hours (reservation not needed), but the garage has tight spaces and a third-party payment machine that may not accept Japanese credit cards.
