Oasis Hotel Waikiki sits on Lewers Street, directly across from the high-end boutiques of Luxury Row and a 2-minute walk to the Royal Hawaiian Center. Waikiki Beach is a 5-minute stroll. The main shopping and dining boulevard, Kalakaua Avenue, is one block away, and the Ala Moana Bus runs at the end of the street. The property is in the heart of Waikiki's nightlife, with several bars and clubs nearby, so noise can be an issue, especially on lower floors. The hotel is a 7-10 minute walk to the Pearl Hotel and about a 15-minute drive from Honolulu Airport. The outdoor Koi pond garden offers a calm spot amid the city bustle.

Each air-conditioned guest room features a spacious furnished balcony, a 42-inch flat-screen TV with an electronics charging station, and urban loft-style décor. The en suite bathroom includes an oversized deep soaking tub, hand-held shower head, hair dryer, and washlette (electric bidet) in select suites. A small refrigerator and coffee machine are standard. Select suites have a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and rice cooker. Rooms are generally large and clean, though the property is older and furnishings show wear. Road-facing rooms can be noisy; upper floors and rooms overlooking the courtyard tend to be quieter. Standard room microwaves are available on request at no charge. Some rooms may have a musty smell, and bathroom exhaust fans may not work. The property is walkable to all Waikiki attractions.

The daily continental breakfast consists of toast, bagels, muffins, croissants, three types of cereal, granola, fresh pineapple and oranges, yogurt, coffee, milk, tea, apple juice, and pineapple juice. Eggs and meat are not available. The breakfast area is outdoors in the courtyard garden, where birds may approach tables. For a more substantial meal, the on-site Aloha Steakhouse offers a 10% discount for hotel guests, and the Camado Ramen Tavern serves Japanese cuisine for dinner. Many other restaurants are within a short walk: Gyu-Kaku Waikiki, P.F. Chang's, Moose McGillycuddy's, and more. A vending machine with snacks and drinks is also available.

The outdoor swimming pool is open year-round and provides sun loungers, beach chairs, and pool/beach towels. The pool has a shallow end and is small; it can feel crowded with more than a couple of families. The pool closes at 19:00. A sauna is available on site (no gym). The Japanese-style garden with koi ponds is a designated outdoor smoking area and features garden furniture on a sun terrace. Karaoke is available at the GS Karaoke Studio, and beach access is a 5-minute walk away.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. The 24-hour front desk can assist with check-in, and an ATM is on site. Free luggage storage is available for arrivals before check-in or departures after checkout. Laundry and dry cleaning services are offered for an additional charge. A shared lounge/TV area is provided. The hotel has a lift and is wheelchair accessible. Valet parking costs US$45 per night with in-and-out privileges; on-site parking is limited and reservations are not possible. Pets are allowed with applicable charges. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, smoke alarms, and a security alarm. Housekeeping is provided every 3 days; daily servicing can be requested.
