The hotel is 100 metres from St. Mark's Square and 10 minutes on foot from the Rialto Bridge. The nearest water-bus stop is San Marco Vallaresso (5 minutes away), connecting to Marco Polo airport via the Alilaguna Blue line (approx. 17 EUR per person). A water taxi from the airport costs around 130-150 EUR and can drop guests directly at the hotel's water door. The train station is a 30-40 minute journey by public water bus. Numerous restaurants, cafes and shops are within a 2-minute walk, including several along the Grand Canal.

Each room has a private bathroom with either a bath or shower, a minibar, tea/coffee making facilities and a seating area. Some rooms overlook a canal, while others face a quiet internal courtyard. Room sizes vary: standard doubles are compact, while larger rooms and family rooms offer more space. A number of rooms have been noted for thin walls, so light sleepers may prefer a courtyard-facing option. The hotel has three floors without a lift; first-floor rooms are available on request. Some bathrooms are dated, but room 103 is singled out for its comfortable beds and quiet atmosphere. Daily housekeeping is provided.

Breakfast includes bread, pastries, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, cold cuts, juices and hot drinks. Gluten-free options are available on request. While some travellers find the breakfast ample and tasty, others note that the hot items and coffee can be inconsistent. For lunch and dinner, the hotel has no restaurant, but a wide range of dining options is within a short walk. Breakfast can also be served in the room.

The reception team can arrange water taxis, book tours and assist with private check-in/out. A concierge service is available, along with a tour desk. For families, baby cots and strollers can be provided on request, and babysitting is offered for an extra charge. The property is secured with CCTV, smoke alarms, key access, and a 24-hour security alarm. Business facilities include fax/photocopying for a fee. Note that there is no elevator, no on-site parking, and no wellness facilities. Luggage storage is free and helpful for late departures.
