HOTEL BELLE EPOQUE, Venice

The hotel sits on the Lista di Spagna, a main thoroughfare linking the station to the Grand Canal, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. Ferrovia vaporetto stop is minutes away for waterbus access to St. Mark's Square, Rialto Bridge, and Murano. The Jewish Ghetto, Ca' d'Oro, and Santa Maria dei Miracoli church are all within the district. For airport arrivals, a private water taxi or a bus/train combo (bus to Piazzale Roma, then 2-minute walk) works well. Rooms in the back tend to be quieter; street-facing rooms may catch passing foot traffic noise.

Each room features air conditioning (centrally controlled and must be activated by reception), satellite TV, hairdryer, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a balcony or city views (subject to availability). Bathrooms are tiled with showers; daily maid service provides fresh towels and soap/shampoo. Flooring varies-some rooms have old, stained carpets; others have parquet. Soundproofing is limited; rooms near the lift or on lower floors may hear elevator noise or street sounds. Double beds are sometimes two singles pushed together. No mini-fridge, kettle, or in-room safe. A handful of rooms are small and may feel cramped; larger family rooms exist. Carpeted floors may feel dated and less suitable for allergy-sensitive individuals.

The breakfast buffet offers cakes, pastries, cereals, scrambled eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, fruit, yogurt, juices, and coffee. Vegetarian options are limited to cornflakes and fruit. Breakfast packs are available for early departures. A variety of restaurants line the surrounding street, including Pasticceria dal Mas, Trattoria Bella Venezia, and Ristorante Roma-all within a 2-3 minute walk. The hotel's own breakfast room is decorated in keeping with the property's Venetian style.
