Atlantis Las Lomas sits on a hill above Puerto del Carmen's main strip and beachfront. The main strip and Playa Grande Beach are about 200 metres downhill - an easy 3-minute walk - while Playa Chica Beach and the marina are a 10-minute walk away. A supermarket is less than a minute from the front door, and dozens of bars, restaurants and shops are within a 5-minute radius. Lanzarote Airport is 9 km away (about 15 minutes by car), and Lanzarote Golf Resort is a 5-minute drive. The property is also well positioned for exploring the island's attractions, such as Rancho Texas Park and Aqualava Water Park. However, the return walk from the strip involves a short but steep hill (known locally as 'Cardiac Hill'), which can be tiring for some; taxis from the strip cost around €3.

All apartments feature a private bathroom, a lounge area with TV and seating, and a kitchen equipped with a hob, kettle, microwave and toaster. Studios have two single beds and a balcony or terrace, while one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments offer more space - the two-bedroom apartments are particularly spacious and include a sofa bed, accommodating up to 5 people. Beds are single-size only (no double beds), though they can be pushed together. Refurbished apartments (such as the Las Lobas category) are modern, clean and well-equipped with comfortable beds and updated furniture, while unrefurbished units can be very dated with worn furnishings, peeling paint and mould. All apartments have a hair dryer. Units facing the main pool and bar area can be noisy at night; rooms on the upper level at the back of the complex are noticeably quieter. The restaurant staff are generally friendly and hard-working. For those who prefer to explore, the main strip just downhill offers dozens of restaurants, bars and cafés serving a wide variety of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, Italian and local Canarian dishes. A supermarket is located less than a minute's walk from the entrance, ideal for stocking up on self-catering supplies.

The property's main attraction is its extensive pool area: six outdoor pools (four adult, two children's) spread across different levels, with plenty of sun loungers available and a no-reservation policy enforced until 10am. The pools are cleaned daily and well-maintained, though none are heated. Pool hours are typically 10am to 6pm or 7pm depending on the season. A pool table is available near the main bar area. Massage services can be booked at reception for an additional charge, and a golf course is within 3 km. The children's playground is small and basic. Evening entertainment is advertised but may not run every night. The entire complex is open year-round.

The 24-hour reception can arrange taxi bookings, car and bike hire, and provides a tour desk. Luggage storage is available after check-out, though the room is locked and access requires buzzing reception. Pay-laundry facilities (self-service washing and drying machines) are on-site. Free public parking is available at a location nearby, with no reservation needed. Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex but is not free - charges apply and vary by the number of devices and duration. A safety deposit box is available for hire.
