B&B HOTEL MADRID CARABANCHEL, Madrid

The hotel lies 8 minutes on foot from San Francisco metro station (line 11) and about 700 m from the E1 bus stop, which reaches the centre in 23 minutes. Atocha main train station is a 7-minute walk away. The property is a 5-minute walk from Isla Azul shopping centre (with supermarkets, fast food and a cinema). For car travellers, on-site paid parking is available, and free street parking is also possible. The surrounding area is quiet but has limited restaurant options within walking distance; the shopping centre provides alternative dining. Reaching the centre by metro requires line changes and typically takes around 40 minutes.

The accommodation offers double, twin and single rooms, each with a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and hairdryer. Rooms are minimally furnished - storage is via shelves and hanging rails rather than a wardrobe. Bed comfort is noted as good, and effective soundproofing between rooms is typical, though lift noise can be audible in adjacent rooms. Air conditioning is present, but some units have been reported as ineffective, leading to rooms that are too warm. In winter, the heating has occasionally failed, resulting in cold showers. Windows open, providing natural ventilation. Room cleaning is available daily, but infrequent or incomplete cleaning has occasionally been reported; towels may not be changed daily. The accommodation is generally well-suited for solo and business travellers, less so for longer family stays due to limited storage and space.

The hotel has no dedicated wellness or sports amenities. The modern lobby with comfortable seating and the 24/7 free drinks corner serve as the main communal relaxation area. A shopping centre with a cinema and multiple restaurants is a 5-minute walk away, offering leisure options. The quiet location also makes evening walks in the vicinity possible.
