BEACH HOUSE INN WITH POOL & HOT TUB, Daytona Beach

The motel sits right on the ocean, providing direct access to the sand (though the access path is currently under construction). Daytona Lagoon Waterpark is 3 km away, the Ocean Center convention venue is 3 km away (a 5-minute drive), and the Daytona International Speedway is 9 km from the property. The city center is 3 km distant. The main street attractions, restaurants, and the boardwalk are within a 1 km walk or a short drive. For solo travelers, the area can feel less secure at night, with occasional disturbances in the parking lot.

Accommodation options range from double rooms to studios and spacious rooms with king beds. Each room includes a private bathroom, a flat-screen Roku TV with streaming services, a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Air conditioning and heating are provided. Some rooms feature desks (mostly 2nd floor), and many rooms offer sea views or inner courtyard views. Kitchen-equipped units have a stovetop, oven, and full cookware. Oceanfront rooms include a private balcony (2nd floor) or patio (ground floor). Some rooms are older and may show wear such as stained carpets, chipped tiles, or rusted fixtures, but newly renovated rooms are clean and modern. The property is a two-story motel without an elevator. For quieter stays, request a room away from the road.

Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but a simple self-serve breakfast of pastries, coffee, and tea is available in the lobby during operating hours. The coffee shop on site provides additional snacks and drinks. A Guest Marketplace offers packaged snacks, beverages, and travel essentials during lobby hours. For hot meals, numerous eateries are within a short walk or a 2-minute drive along the beachfront strip.

The property's pool and hot tub are not operational, with construction ongoing for what appears to be an extended period. The pool area, previously featuring sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool toys, is fenced off. The direct beach access path and patio area are also under repair, making beach entry difficult, especially for guests with mobility issues. Nearby public beach access is available via neighboring hotels or a public entrance a short walk away. For those seeking water-based leisure, the ocean itself remains the primary attraction, with the motel offering direct sand access when conditions allow.
