The hotel sits at the intersection of Montparnasse, Saint-Germain, and Saint-Michel, just next to the Luxembourg Gardens. Notre-Dame Cathedral is 2 km away, the Louvre Museum 2 km, and the Eiffel Tower about 30 minutes by public transport. Disneyland Paris is roughly an hour away via RER. The area includes numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops within a short walk, such as Le Royal, Figue & Olive, and Academie de la biere, all within 0.5 km. The RER B line from Port-Royal provides a direct 40-minute trip to both CDG and Orly airports. A taxi from CDG costs approximately 50-65 EUR, and from Orly about 40 EUR.

Each room has a private bathroom with a bath or shower, free toiletries, and a hairdryer. Soundproof walls, electric kettle, and a safe deposit box are standard. The Hemingway Suite offers a spectacular view over Paris. Some rooms open onto a balcony. Room sizes are practical for a single traveller or a couple, but can feel tight for two people with luggage. Road-facing rooms can be noisy from traffic and nearby hospital sirens. The hotel has no air conditioning; rooms rely on opening windows for cooling, which increases street noise. Rooms on the 5th and 6th floors offer rooftop views. Note: some rooms may require climbing a small flight of stairs from the lift. All rooms have heating, useful in cooler months.
