The hotel sits in a central but often quiet side street, giving easy foot access to shops on Henry Street, the Gate Theatre and Connolly Station (15 minutes on foot). The surrounding area provides a wide range of dining options - restaurants such as Murray's Bar, Chapter One and Pho Viet are within 0.5 km - and the Temple Bar entertainment district is a 10-minute walk. For airport transfers, Aircoach stops under 5 minutes away; bus routes 16 and 41 stop a two-minute walk away, costing around €3 per person. A taxi from the airport costs €25-30. The immediate side streets can feel quiet at night and some nearby alleys may feel less comfortable after dark. For the 3Arena, public transport takes about 30 minutes.

All rooms come with a private bathroom (bath in selected rooms only on request), tea/coffee-making facilities, a TV, safe, hairdryer, heating and free toiletries. Standard rooms feature a power shower and crisp white duvets but have no air conditioning, no fridge and often small windows that can only be tilted open. Road-facing rooms and those on lower floors may hear noise from bin collections, the bar, corridor traffic and building work. Some basement rooms (-1 floor) are described as dark, hot and with poor ventilation. Superior rooms undergo regular refurbishment and offer a king-size bed, walk-in rainfall shower, luxury Rituals products, a Nespresso machine, a small refrigerator and air conditioning. Triple and quadruple family rooms (some with three single beds) are available, but no rooms interconnect or accommodate more than four people. Upper-floor rooms tend to be quieter.

Breakfast includes a full traditional Irish breakfast, vegan ciabatta options, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts, Nespresso coffee and juices. Pre-booking at €12 per person saves €2 versus the walk-in rate of €14. The buffet is well-stocked but the breakfast room can become crowded at peak times, with queues forming at the coffee machine. The Belvedere restaurant serves dinner from 17:00-21:30 daily, with seasonal Christmas menus available. The Belvedere Lounge offers a bar menu, large TVs showing live sport, live music at weekends and occasional Irish nights with traditional music, dancing and food. The restaurant and bar are open to residents; children are welcome in the restaurant area. Special diet menus are available on request. A vending machine on-site provides snacks and drinks 24/7.

Leisure is centred on the property's bar and lounge: the Belvedere Lounge features large-screen TVs showing live sport, live music at weekends and Irish nights with live music, dancing and food. These events are bookable in advance and may incur a charge. There are no fitness or wellness facilities on-site - no pool, spa, sauna, jacuzzi or gym. For active leisure, Croke Park (10-minute walk) and the 3Arena (30 minutes by public transport) are nearby, and self-guided walking tours of Dublin's attractions are accessibly close.

The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in all areas and a 24-hour reception that can assist with concierge, tour desk, taxi booking and early/late check-in/out requests. Luggage storage is free of charge and available for use before check-in or after check-out. Daily housekeeping changes towels and replenishes water, tea, coffee and biscuits in Superior rooms, but Standard rooms receive only basic service - deep cleaning is not performed. A laundry and dry-cleaning service is offered at an additional charge. The property is fully non-smoking and has lifts serving all floors, though some rooms require navigating steps and multiple corridors. Family rooms and cots are available, but interconnecting rooms and rooms for more than four people are not.
