The hostel is well-connected by public transport: the LUAS tram stop is 150 metres away, and bus routes serve the city and airport. Dublin Express bus 782 stops at Arran Quay, just a 3-4 minute walk. The airlink 747 from the airport goes to Ushers Quay, also a short walk. Taxis from the airport take about 25 minutes and cost roughly €30. Smithfield Square offers supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants immediately opposite. The location provides easy walking access to Dublin Castle, Christ Church Cathedral, Grafton Street, and the Guinness Storehouse. The neighbourhood is lively and safe, with a mix of pubs and cultural venues.

Private rooms include a single room with shared bathroom, twin/double rooms with private bathroom (some with TV), and family rooms for up to four. Dormitory beds have individual reading lights, USB and power sockets, and under-bed lockers (bring your own padlock or buy one). All bed linen is provided; towels are extra in dorms. Rooms on the third floor and above are accessible by lift. Heating is available but no air conditioning. Some rooms above the bar can experience loud music until late, especially Thursday to Sunday. Dorm bathrooms are gender-separated; shared bathrooms are on each floor. The property has wheelchair-accessible rooms and facilities. Note that rooms have no balconies, no kitchen, and no connecting rooms.

Breakfast is available for an additional €11 per person, offering continental options every day and a full Irish breakfast on weekends. Vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free choices are available on request. The bar menu includes burgers (the house burger is a standout), snacks, and a variety of drinks. Opening hours are 07:00-22:30 daily. The bar also hosts shuffleboard tournaments, karaoke, live music, and pool tables, making it a social evening spot. There are no self-catering kitchen facilities on-site, but several cafes and restaurants are within a 3-minute walk across Smithfield Square.

The on-site entertainment is centred on the Shuffleboard Bar, which has pool tables, foosball, darts, table tennis, and shuffleboard. A cinema room shows films in the evenings and can be hired for private events (up to 100 standing, 60 seated). The Generator Skyview Tower is a 60-metre-high viewing platform with 360° panoramas of Dublin - on clear days the Wicklow Mountains and Howth Head are visible. It's accessed via a spiral staircase of 259 steps. The hostel also organises walking tours, pub crawls, and live music performances. No swimming pool, spa, or gym are available.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the public areas. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/out, safety deposit boxes, and a tour desk. Luggage storage is available (lockers in basement for a small fee, plus under-bed lockers in rooms). Laundry costs €7 per load (including detergent). A travel shop sells essentials, adapters, and padlocks. Hairdryers and irons can be borrowed from reception with ID. Daily housekeeping is provided.
