The hotel sits on a quiet alley just steps from the busy city centre, so you get the convenience without the street noise. Stockholm Central Station is a 10- to 15-minute walk (or one metro stop), giving you direct Arlanda Express access. The Hötorgshallen food market, Drottninggatan shopping street, and the icebar are all within a 5-minute walk. For Vasa or ABBA museums, take tram 7 from the stop 5 minutes away. The neighbourhood is safe and walkable, though the street has a slight incline that can be slippery in winter. The Red Sightseeing hop-on-hop-off bus stops about 200 m away at the Concert Hall.

Rooms are very efficiently designed - often described as cabin-like - with a bed wedged between two walls, making it necessary for one person to climb over the other to get out. Storage is minimal: no wardrobes, just pegs, cubbies, and under-bed space. Bathrooms are narrow but modern, with a clear glass wall that offers little privacy. Rooms without windows are in the basement; they are dark, can feel stuffy (ventilation is via a fan/thermostat that cannot be turned off), and have a persistent smell. Windowless rooms are best suited for solo travellers on a tight budget. Opt for a double room with a window on a higher floor to avoid noise from the bar/restaurant. All rooms have heating, a kettle, hairdryer, and toiletries (extra items available at reception). There are no rooms with balconies or private fridges.

Breakfast is a highlight - a vast buffet with Swedish pancakes, fresh bread, smoked fish, meats, cheeses, yoghurt, fruits, cereals, and hot drinks. Vegan options (yoghurt, spreads), gluten-free items, and a takeaway breakfast box are available. The breakfast area is on the ground floor and can get very busy between 07:00-09:30; weekends are slightly less crowded. The restaurant also offers dinner (pizza, local cuisine) and the bar serves wine, champagne, and snacks. The terrace and shared lounge area provide a pleasant spot for an evening drink. For lunch or alternative dining, numerous restaurants are within a 3-minute walk (Italian, Turkish, seafood, pizza).

The gym is equipped for a full workout (free weights, cardio machines) and is free for all hotel guests. The sauna is also free and has separate changing rooms for men and women. Towels are provided in the rooms, and you can ask for slippers at reception. Note that the fitness and sauna area is in the basement, and no pool or spa is available. There is also a shared lounge/TV area and outdoor terrace for relaxation.

The hotel offers a practical set of services for city-break or business travellers. The 24-hour reception can arrange taxis (including early departures), accept packages for room decoration, and handle late check-in requests. The free luggage storage is popular: you can drop bags from 10:00 and retrieve them after checkout. Self-check-in kiosks make arrival fast. The business centre has fax/photocopying (chargeable). A safety deposit box is available in the room, and security includes CCTV, key-card access, and 24-hour patrol. There is a lift to all floors, though the elevator system can be confusing. The hotel is non-smoking throughout and does not allow pets. No on-site parking exists, but the nearest public garage (150 m) offers EV charging.
