The hostel is located at the edge of the city centre, surrounded by the sea. The nearest tram stop (Vyökatu) is just around the corner, providing direct service to the Central Railway Station and airport (train + tram). Walking to the city centre takes about 20 minutes. The Viking Line terminal is 200 metres away, Olympia Terminal 3 km, and West Terminal 5 km. Market Square is 800 metres on foot. The neighbourhood is quiet and safe, with a grocery store (Alepa) 300 metres away. Public transport tickets can be purchased at reception or via the HSL app.

Room types: STANDARD single (€48), BUDGET single (9 m2, €43.80), STANDARD twin (from €25/person), BUDGET twin (14 m2, from €25.35/person), STANDARD triple (19 m2, from €24/person), BUDGET triple (from €21.34/person), and a family room (up to 2 adults + 3 children max 15 years). Dormitory beds in male- or female-only twin/triple rooms. All rooms have lockable wardrobes, desks, and mirrors. STANDARD rooms feature satellite TV, renovated interiors, and better soundproofing. No air conditioning; window opening is limited for safety, which can make summer nights warm. Shared showers and toilets are on each floor (men/women separate). Linen and towels are provided; beds are self-made. Extra beds available for €10/person. Rooms are minimalist but clean; some may have worn furnishings and thin walls, so STANDARD rooms are recommended for quieter stays.

Breakfast hours: weekdays 7-10 am, weekends 8-11 am. Cost €11 per adult, €7.90 for children 3-9, free under 3. The buffet includes coffee, tea, juice, bread, ham, cheese, vegetables, fruit, and a daily warm option like scrambled eggs or sausages. A takeaway breakfast (€11.90) is available if pre-ordered by 11 am the previous day. The restaurant also offers pre-ordered group lunch and dinner (starting €12.90) with a 70-seat capacity and summer terrace. Vending machines in the lobby provide snacks and drinks. Several restaurants are within a 5-minute walk.

The sauna is located on the 7th floor and is heated daily. Morning sauna (7-10 am) is free for all guests. Evening sauna (5-10 pm) costs €7.50 per guest (€15 for non-guests). For private use, the sauna can be rented for 4 hours (€99 for guests, €130 non-guests) and includes towels for 10 and a fridge. Sauna capacity is 10 people. Additionally, the hostel offers free evening entertainment occasionally (bingo, karaoke, live music) and has board games in the lounges. Bicycle rental is available for exploring. Helsinki Cards and attraction tickets can be purchased at reception.

Reception is open 24/7 and sells public transport tickets, Helsinki Cards, and attraction tickets. Luggage storage is free for up to 24 hours. Safety deposit boxes and lockers are available at reception. Three self-service kitchens (floors 4-6) are open from 06:00 to 23:00, equipped with cookware, fridges, and a TV in one kitchen. The coin-operated laundrette (€1 per wash/dry) is on the ground floor, with washing powder sold at reception. Bicycle storage: 15 outdoor racks and 10 indoor camera-monitored racks, with e-bike battery charging and a pump. No on-site parking; street parking nearby (€4/h). The hostel is not fully accessible. Linen and towels are included. Late checkout possible for a fee. Pets allowed only in 3 designated budget twin rooms (€15 fee).
