Boboli Living is directly across from Palazzo Pitti and the entrance to Boboli Gardens, placing it in the Oltrarno district - less crowded than the immediate centre but within a 5-minute walk to Ponte Vecchio and 15 minutes to the Duomo. Santa Maria Novella station is a 10-minute bus ride or 20-minute walk away. The area is full of restaurants, cafés and gelaterias within 0.5 km. The direct bus to the station stops just down the street, and the tram from Villa Costanza connects via the station. For drivers, parking garages are a short walk but should be booked ahead.

Rooms are en suite (private bathrooms in most, though a few rooms have a private bathroom across the corridor). The superior double and superior quadruple rooms face Palazzo Pitti for good light and views; the Attic Double has an opaque window onto an internal courtyard - less suited to anyone wanting natural light or a view. Standard rooms and those facing internal courtyards are generally quieter but dimmer. Beds can be set as twins or doubles by request. Each room includes a TV, heating, free toiletries, and a kettle with tea. Several rooms have mould and maintenance issues reported, particularly in bathrooms - check the specific room condition upon arrival.

Boboli Living does not have its own restaurant, kitchen, or room service. Breakfast is offered at a discounted rate at the bar adjacent to the property, but the menu is limited to basic coffee and pastries.
