Michelangelo's David and Santa Maria Novella Train Station are a 10-minute walk away. The Bargello museum is around the corner. For airport transfers, the Tramvia runs from the airport to Santa Maria Novella, then it's a 15-minute walk to the door. Taxis are the easiest direct connection. Parking is off-site only (€35/day) and the ZTL restricted traffic zone requires careful navigation when driving in. The location is exceptionally central for exploring all major attractions on foot.

All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, and free Wi-Fi. Décor is red-themed with exposed wood-beamed ceilings typical of the 15th-century building. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower or bath, hairdryer, and some rooms also include a bidet. Room sizes vary: some are compact and better suited for short stays, while the Executive Suite (across the landing) offers a separate living area with an extra queen bed or two single beds. Rooms may have a balcony, but availability should be confirmed when booking. Road-facing rooms can experience street noise; interior rooms are quieter. Some rooms lack a window with a view, relying on a balcony or rooftop access for natural light. The building is undergoing renovation work in lower floors, which may cause dust and noise during the day.

Breakfast is self-service from 8:30 AM in the communal kitchen/dining area, featuring an Italian buffet with pastries, muesli, fresh fruit, yogurt, breads with jams and Nutella, cereal, juice, and packaged items such as pancakes with maple syrup. Packaged snacks and rolls are available before 8:30 for early risers. A shared kitchenette with a tea and coffee machine (including cappuccino) is accessible all day, plus a microwave for light meal prep. There is no on-site restaurant or bar; however, numerous dining options are within a 5-minute walk, including Acqua Al 2, Osteria Vini e Vecchi Sapori, and Gustavino Piazza Signoria.
