The hotel is in a safe, university-area neighbourhood within a 15-minute walk of the city centre and major sights like St. Stephen's Cathedral. Public transport is excellent: trams 37, 38, 40, 41, 42, 5, and 33 stop a minute away, and Schottentor Underground (U2) is a 10-minute walk. The Vienna Trade Fair and Austria Centre are 10-15 minutes by tram. Airport access via CAT from Wien Mitte takes 16 minutes plus a short tram ride. Free on-street parking is available on weekends, making car use practical outside weekday restrictions.

All rooms feature individually adjustable air conditioning, a kettle with tea/coffee, flat-screen TV, safe, desk, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and a hairdryer. Standard Doubles (24 rooms) and Singles (11 rooms) have carpeted floors - one Standard Double room does not. Superior rooms (35 rooms) offer more space, larger beds, and either a bathtub or walk-in shower. Some rooms have a balcony (available on request and subject to availability). Smoking rooms are on the 6th floor. The hotel is older and some rooms show wear; road-facing rooms can pick up street noise and the single lift can cause delays. For a quieter stay, choose a higher floor away from the elevator.

The breakfast buffet runs from morning until late morning and includes a variety of breads, pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, and hot drinks. Egg dishes can be prepared fresh on request. The bamboo terrace in the quiet courtyard is open during summer for a relaxed outdoor breakfast. There is no restaurant or bar on-site, but the surrounding Alsergrund district offers numerous Viennese pubs, international restaurants, and cafés within a few minutes' walk. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available in the lobby. Special dietary needs (allergies, gluten-free, vegetarian) can be accommodated if informed in advance.

For active downtime, two recommended running routes are within easy reach: a flat 5 km circular route through the city centre, and a longer route in the 52.2-hectare Augarten park (open dawn to dusk, gravel paths). The hotel also provides a bamboo terrace in the courtyard, ideal for relaxing with a book or a coffee. No on-site wellness or fitness facilities are available.

The hotel offers a 24-hour reception with concierge and tour desk. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after checkout. An airport shuttle can be arranged for an additional fee - request it after booking. Laundry handed in by 09:00 on weekdays is returned the same evening; an iron and ironing board can be borrowed.
