BEST WESTERN PLUS CASINO ROYALE-CENTER STRIP, Las Vegas

The hotel sits in the heart of the Strip, directly adjacent to The Venetian and across from The Mirage, putting most major hotels, attractions, and entertainment within walking distance-Bellagio fountains are a 15-20 minute stroll, and the Sphere is a short walk through the Venetian. The monorail stop is also easily accessible. Parking is free and secured in an on-site garage behind the hotel, making it a practical base for those with a car wanting to explore the city or take day trips. However, finding the check-in entrance for the first time can be confusing; enter the parking garage behind the building, then take the elevator down to the casino level to reach reception. Ride-share pickups are not available at the hotel-walk next door to Harrah's for that service. For airport transfers, use the tram or a taxi.

The accommodation offers a range of room types including King Suites and Family Rooms, all with private bathrooms (some with spa baths). Rooms are clean and adequate for sleeping and showering, though the property is older and some units show signs of wear. Sound insulation between rooms and from hallways is limited; doors slamming and foot traffic can be audible, and street-facing rooms may pick up noise from the Strip. Road-facing rooms should be avoided by light sleepers. Air conditioning is standard but some units may not cool effectively in summer-opening windows is an option, but this lets in outside noise. Pillows and mattresses are firm; some travellers prefer a softer sleep surface. Room sizes vary, with some considered small and darker, while others are spacious and bright. There are no balconies or interconnecting rooms. The hotel's dated feel means it is best suited to those prioritising location and price over modern decor.

The hotel houses several casual dining choices serving American cuisine, including options that are open 24 hours. Denny's and Outback Steakhouse are full-service restaurants, while White Castle and Cinnabon offer quick bites. A cocktail lounge and a snack bar are on the premises, and the bar is noted for some of the cheapest beer on the Strip. Special diet menus (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free) are available on request. Breakfast is not included in the room rate but can be selected as an add-on when booking; for those who prefer to eat off-site, Walgreens and CVS are steps away for self-catering essentials. The on-site casino also sells alcohol and snacks.

The seasonal outdoor swimming pool is heated and surrounded by a fence, with sun loungers, beach chairs, and umbrellas provided. It is open daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, closing only for maintenance or inclement weather. The pool area is generally quiet and well-maintained, though some have noted it can feel small and occasionally less clean. There is no hot tub or spa on site. The fitness centre is open 24 hours and offers basic cardio and strength equipment; it is free for guests. For entertainment, an on-site casino is available with slot machines and table games, and a minimarket sells drinks and snacks.

The hotel offers a range of practical services: a 24-hour front desk with express check-in/out, a concierge, and a tour desk to help plan activities. Free luggage storage is available, which is especially useful for late departures. Free daily housekeeping is standard; additional cleaning or laundry services (dry cleaning at extra charge) can be arranged. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The business centre provides free faxing and photocopying. Safety features include a safety deposit box, 24-hour security, key card access, and smoke alarms. The property is fully accessible with a lift and facilities for disabled guests (including toilets with grab rails). Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and debit cards with a Visa/Mastercard logo. Cash is accepted for the incidental deposit.
