Bus stops on Geylang Road serve additional routes. Public parking is available nearby for a fee. The area is lined with local eateries, including Kwan Inn Vegetarian Food and J.B. Ah Meng Restaurant, both within 0.5 km. For sports events, Singapore Sports Hub is 3 km away, reachable by MRT or a 10-minute taxi ride. The hostel is 12 km from Changi Airport; the MRT journey takes about 25 minutes without transfers.

All pods include a comfortable mattress, pillow, towel, and power outlets (USB and plug). The curtain provides visual privacy but does not lock; lockers in common areas accommodate laptops and small bags but not large backpacks. Room air conditioning is effective but pods can become warm because the internal fan is slow - sleeping with the curtain partly open may be necessary. Dormitories can be noisy at night due to guest activity; earplugs are advised. The family private room contains 6 pods. The property has no elevator; stairs only. Some pods and mattresses show signs of wear; cleanliness varies.

Breakfast is self-serve with bread, butter, chocolate and peanut spreads, cereals, long-life milk, instant coffee, and tea. The shared kitchen has a microwave, fridge, and cutlery for preparing simple meals. The kitchen and dining area can be busy during peak hours.
