CASA LIRIO BY BLOSSOM HOTELS, Barcelona

The property is located on a pedestrian alleyway in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, just off La Rambla. Key landmarks are within easy walking distance: Plaça de Catalunya is 1 km away, the Picasso Museum is less than 1 km, and Sant Miquel Beach is 2 km (about a 15-minute walk). The nearest metro station is a 5-minute walk, giving direct access to the rest of the city. Barcelona El Prat Airport is 12 km away - a taxi costs approximately €35-€40, and a paid airport shuttle can be arranged. The area has a lively atmosphere with dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops on the doorstep, but the alley itself can feel dark at night. For those arriving by car, no on-site parking is available; secure public parking is located nearby in the port district.

The property offers family rooms, twin/double rooms, and double deluxe rooms. Family rooms are spacious and include a king bed plus a sofa bed, comfortably accommodating two adults and two children. All rooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in shower (some deluxe family rooms feature a bathtub). Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a safe, and sound-proofed walls. A work desk is present in three of the five rooms - if a desk is essential, request it at booking. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in every room. Some rooms offer a private balcony or terrace with city views, while others overlook an inner courtyard. Rooms facing the street can be noisy at night due to nearby bars; earplugs are supplied. A cot and high chair are available on request (subject to availability). The property operates as a guesthouse within a residential building, which means the entrance and some common areas are shared with other residents.

Casa Lirio does not operate a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre. For leisure, guests have access to a rooftop terrace and a small courtyard garden with seating - these are shared spaces where you can relax, enjoy free coffee, or plan your day. Walking tours of the Gothic Quarter can be booked through the property for an additional charge. The nearest beach (Sant Miquel) is a 15-minute walk or a short metro ride away. A bicycle rental shop is located directly below the hotel. The port area and marina are within a 5-minute walk, offering opportunities for boating and waterside strolls.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Daily housekeeping is included and towels and linen are changed regularly. Luggage storage is free and available between 10:00 and 18:00 (and until 22:00 for storage after check-out). The property offers a paid airport shuttle arranged through a third-party provider (approximately €35-€45 one way). Reception is staffed from 10:00 to 18:00; outside these hours, check-in is handled via a door-code system and a locker for key collection. A lift is available but is very small - it will not fit a pram or large suitcase, so guests with bulky items should be prepared to carry them up the stairs. A 24-hour security system is in place, including CCTV and key-card access. Pets are allowed for an additional €10 per night, and a cot can be provided subject to availability. A deposit of €100 (cash or card) is required at check-in. The property does not provide on-site parking - secure public parking is available nearby.
